Captain Wayne Kerry, Sr. is an United States Merchant Marine captain.
Wayne has lived in Charlotte county for 20 years. He is an award-recognized outdoor sportsman. With experience in local and Pro fishing, he is dedicated to the enjoyment and preservation of the outdoors. He has an appreciation and knowledge of the Southwest Florida waterways.
Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf Islands have emerged as one of the worlds top sport fishing destinations. Charlotte County’s incredible diversity of spectacular fishing is hooking anglers from around the world. Charlotte Harbor encompasses both the second largest harbor and second largest estuary in the state of Florida including a 240-square-mile aquatic preserve. Wayne Kerry, Sr. has enjoyed living and fishing on the prestigious Charlotte Harbor for twenty years; his fishing experience is what prompted the name “Big Hit”.
